Bonnie’s good news
Graham was coughing a lot overnight and his voice sounded awful this morning so he didn’t go to work.
I phoned the surgeons office and I was delighted to hear that I am first on the list tomorrow so need to be at the hospital at 6.30am.
I went for my reflexology session at Glenda’s. It was wonderful. We focused on the healing light and I felt it move through my body. I then picked up Bonnie and took her for her Oncology appointment. Great news, her tumour markers are down so the treatment is working. We smiled all the way home.
Because Graham cannot go in the hospital with a respiratory illness we arranged that he will drop me off at the hospital and Bonnie will meet me there and stay with me and drive me home.
Just before I started to type today’s blog I went on line to the support group and read a posting about a woman who is a thirty year survivor of metastatic breast cancer. She was diagnosed with lung mets in 1978 and has since had spread to other organs but is still doing well with good quality of life. I love to read about these survivor stories.
