Run for the cure and reunion with friend
Today was the “Run For The Cure (in our case it is walk for the cure) The weather was lovely.. Paul, Mel and Abby ran along with all of Mel’s family. I was very touched by this show of support. Graham and me walked it and took our time and when we reached the finish line we were greeted by Mel and Abby. Paul was across the field looking for us. He quickly ran across to us and lifted me up in the air in a big hug. We then walked across the finish line together.
We had lunch and then headed to the airport to pick up my friend Peggy who was flying in from Edmonton to join us on our trip to Osoyoos.  There are six of us from the original Spirit Abreast Team getting together for a reunion.
Peggy and I caught up on all our news and in what seemed no time at all it was bedtime.
